Angles Morts - Blind Spots - Passenger Vehicles - 24577
From 1st January 2021, all vehicles over 3.5 tonne entering France must display a series of blind spot safety signs.
Traffic rule R-313-32-1 has been included in the French Traffic Code from 1 January. Failure to comply with this rule will result in fines. Penalties can also be issued if signs or stickers are incorrectly mounted or placed in wrong locations.
NOTE: Magnetic Sign material may not work on all vehicles such as those with aluminium, ABS, alloys and other non-ferrous materials. Please check fixing area first with a fridge magnet or similar and that the area is completely flat to ensure that a magnetic sign will attach without issue.
There are two versions of this sign, this one for buses and passenger vehicles and one for trucks and freight vehicles which can be ordered here.
On buses and passenger vehicles, the signs must be fixed to both sides of the vehicle and to the rear. On both vehicle sides, the signs must be applied to the front part, at a height between 0.9 and 1.5 metres from the ground. The sign on the rear must be fixed to the right side of the bus or passenger vehicle. Again, the signs must be applied at a height between 0.9 and 1.5 metres from the ground.
Please select the correct sign size and sign material type for the viewing distance required and the conditions of where the sign is posted. For more information, please refer to our guide.
Designed to meet the latest Safety Sign Design Standards, this sign is durable, Safe and Visible with compliant text and symbols.
