Class 9 - Lithium Battery - 30085
This Class 9 - Lithium Batteries sign/placard is used to warn of potentially hazardous materials in transit. This new Class 9 Lithium Battery labels replaces the existing Class 9 (Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances) label for marking packages of Lithium Batteries under changes to dangerous goods transport regulations, effective 1st Jan 2017.
If the warning diamond is being posted on a background which does not provide a contrasting colour with the sign, for example a white diamond on a white background, the dotted boundary alternative must be used - 5.2.2.2.1.1 ADR (European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) applicable from January 2011).
