Class 1 - Explosive 1.2F - 30035
This Class 1 Explosive Subclass 1.2F Sign/Placard is used to warn of potentially hazardous materials in transit. Class 1 Orange Explosive Placards are used for the transportation of any chemical compound, device, or mixture which is designed to function by explosion, or is capable of producing an pyrotechnic or explosive effect. The Explosive substances class is divided into six subclasses and further divided into 13 compatibility groups according to degree of risk. Subclass 1.2 covers projection hazards.
If the warning diamond is being posted on a background which does not provide a contrasting colour with the sign, for example an orange diamond on an orange background, the dotted boundary alternative must be used - 5.2.2.2.1.1 ADR (European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) applicable from January 2011).
